New In: One Piece and the latest Assassination Classroom

I was looking for some Japanese manga recommendations recently and you guys gave me some great recommendations (and I’ll try to read every single one of them). But after finishing Dragon Ball and all the great things I heard about One Piece I just thought I’d give it a shot. Both are highly regarded as the best Jump has to offer (or at least both at the very top) and I already had the first volume of One Piece standing on my book shelve. So I just thought “what the heck” and gave One Piece a try. And, I love it. Immediately ordered the remaining volumes till number ten and because I couldn’t wait for them to arrive from Japan I just got number 2 & 3 as digital editions as well.

I’ll probably be busy with One Piece for quite some time but I still try to catch up with some ongoing manga I read. Probably the only one right now is Assassination Classroom. The covers itself are justifying the purchase of the manga alone. They’re just gorgeous. every single one of them.

One Piece is a great manga, it has comedy, action, moving moments and more. It does have a slow start, but it gets better and better and you will start to like the characters and story. ♡

BTW where did you get your manga sleeves from?

    • Oh yeah, One Piece keeps getting better and better. I was in search for another long running series after reading Dragon Ball and OP has been the perfect fit.

You can order these sleeves directly at cdjapan. I bought mine directly in Japan at Tsutaya though. Really love these sleeves.Just have a look here:
