Japanese Kit Kat with sakura-matcha flavor

Japanese Kit Kat with sakura-matcha flavor

It’s springtime in Japan. Picnicking under a Sakura cherry tree in full-bloom is an old custom over there. At least that’s what the experts over at Nestlé wrote on the Kit Kat packaging that we pictured here. At this time traditional Sakura flavored sweets are very popular and of course, every big company wants a piece of that market. Even if we don’t plan to sit down with a blanket on a sunny day, we can still enjoy the sakura flavored Kit Kat. It is always astonishing, how much packaging the Japanese use. Definitely not environmentally friendly. But see for yourself.

PS: The candy tastes very good and is the best one we tried from the various Japanese Kit Kat which we bought at the Narita Airport. So if you have a chance to buy some: Go for it!
